Happy Birthday, Cigi and Cheryl!

Two of my favorite people--and fellow bloggers--are having a birthday today! Yes, it's the twins, Cigi and Cheryl, celebrating another spanking good year of life!

The title of this drawing by Endart is, "Worn Out By The Twins"--and believe me, that's appropriate. These two ladies love their spankings and can take quite a bit! In fact, whenever I see them at the Crimson Moon parties in Chicago, I have to try and play with them early on in the weekend--'cause if I wait too long, they'll be well toasted and done! It's always nice to go to their room to play and chat.

Cheryl, of course, is the author of the blog Positively Spanking, and Cigi writes the blog Cigi's World. Both are well worth taking the time to read. These two ladies know their stuff and have great insights into the spanking and party scene.

So, Happy birthday to two wonderful ladies! (You're both 29, right?) :-)

And you can both expect a birthday spanking from me the next time we're at Crimson Moon!

Oh, The Weather Outside Is.....

I think Winter may have finally arrived here in Minnesota.

We'd had a little snow over the last few months, but it melted away. Up until last week I was still able to run around outside in short sleeves and without a jacket, which is practically unheard of for a December in Minnesota.

We're in the middle of a storm warning, though, which could easily become a blizzard by tomorrow--strong winds and limited visibility. The snow is supposed to end tomorrow around midnight and the temperatures for the rest of the week are barely going to break into double digits. That means whatever snow we get isn't likely to be melting soon--which means we'll be stuck with this until, oh, April --

So, to recap: Today's weather --

And the weather for tomorrow --

This would seem to be a good time for a "snow day". Call in to work, stay home, and spank somebody! After all, we don't anybody complaining about a cold bottom.....

One Month Ago....

One month ago, I went to the Crimson Moon Halloween party, in spite of the airline's best attempts to see that I didn't arrive. (It's a month later, and I'm still upset about the cancellations and delays. Compared to what others have gone through--there are some horror stories out there!--getting in 4 hours later than I should have isn't the worst thing that could have happened. it did mean that instead of getting there in the afternoon, unpacking and getting settled, I didn't get there until after the party had already started. I hate missing out on party time! Still, as one wise soul kept trying to tell me, "At least you got here."

On my way to my room, I ran into one lovely lady in the hallway who was kind enough to listen to my grumpy and frustrated grumblings about my trip. I finished up by saying, "It's a good thing I'm here, 'cause I'm definitely in the mood spank someone at this point." She immediately volunteered. (I do love the Spanko ladies of Crimson Moon!)

I wanted to get drop off my bag, change clothes, and then drop by the hospitality suite to say hello to everyone there first, so she told me where I could find her later, and off I went.

It didn't take me long to make the rounds of the party room. This was a bit smaller gathering than other CM Halloween parties that I've been to, and some of my favorite people, such as my fellow bloggers, Cigi of Cigi's World and CherylKay of Positively Spanking, were not able to attend. I said my hellos, told my airline horror story a few times (another lovely lady, upon hearing that I was in the mood to spank someone, replied, "I'll think about it!" Very sweet and wonderful of her, but I did have to tell her that another lady had beaten her to it and was waiting on me to return.)

Back upstairs I went and quickly located my first spankee of the party. We went to my room, she went over my knee, and the spanking party--for me, anyway--officially got started. It was a wonderful session--her comment was, "If I could, I'd purr". What a wonderful and lovely lady to play with!

Back downstairs I spied a woman sneaking candy (she knows she shouldn't), and she got spanked by me right there in the hospitality suite. The night concluded with another lady who I somehow had missed playing with a few parties in a row. We made up for lost time--in fact, I think I played with her 3 different times over the weekend, each one a fabulous spanking experience.

One of the nice things about the party? The return of spanking model Sarah Gregory, who was attending her second Crimson Moon party! It's no secret to anyone that I'm a fan--somewhere in the archives is a post called, "I Love Sarah Gregory". For her take on the party, go to her blog, Spanking Sarah Gregory. She also has some wonderful pictures of the party and the outfits she was wearing.

Saturday came all too quickly. I had made arrangements to have lunch that day with one of my favorite people and her boyfriend. There wound be being 6 of us going, and we went to a buffet at an Indian restaurant. This was my first time eating Indian food, so I followed the lead of those in the group who were more experienced with the cuisine. We were told that all of the choices were mildly spiced, and that proved to be the case. It was a great first experience--the garam marsala and the tandoori chicken were my favorites. And while the spices did have a bit of a "burn", it was more of a light tingle on the tongue and throat and quite pleasant.

After lunch, two of the people went off to rest, and the remaining 4 went to my room to hang out and talk. Two of us tried playing, but for some reason she just couldn't get into it, so that wrapped up very quickly. It's too bad, because--as I mentioned--she's one of my favorite people to play with. But, there things happen.

The only bad thing about the afternoon was that I missed a mini-vendors fair. Sarah had brought some things to sell, and I missed it. (I also hadn't anticipated a vendors fair of any kind at this party, so had brought a minimum of money with me.) I saw Sarah at the dinner that night and she had noticed my absence. Sweetheart that she is, she offered to take me upstairs so I could see what she had for sale, but I had to honestly tell her I just didn't have the money. Next time she comes to Crimson Moon, though, I'll be better prepared! I enjoy her videos, and she has a 2010 calendar for sale that I really want!

For my Halloween costume, I took a tip from the TV show that consistantly ranks as #1 with the viewers. I wore this hat--

and combined it with this shirt--

added a pair of blue latex gloves and slung a camera around my neck, and I went to the party as an NCIS Investigative Field Agent. The camera had no batteries, no film, and no lens. I didn't say I was GOOD field agent! (Plus, some of those attending spanking parties are notoriously camera-shy, and I wanted to make sure they could tell there was no chance of my taking any snapshots.)

When I first walked into the party room, Mike, one of the leaders of the CM group say the latex gloves and said, "Okay, I have to admit, you're scaring me a little bit right now." I pointed out the NCIS logos and told him I was wearing them so as not to contaminate the crime scene.

Later on, I was posing for a few pictures when Sarah came over dressed as Dorothy from "The Wizard of Oz" and flipped her skirt up at me revealing a lovely red pair of panties (and, of course, her lovely bottom, as well.) In keeping with my costume, I just smiled and said, "I'll dust you for prints later." That got a laugh from everyone.

I started my evening spanking my absolute favorite CM lady, and was lucky enough to end the night by giving her a second spanking before she went off to bed. I think it left both of us in a good mood.

Sunday dawned all too soon. I checked out, went to the airport, and returned home. It was a wonderful party--once I got there--and I can't wait for the next one!

BTW, here's a shot of Sarah's 2010 calendar--you can order it by going to "Spanking Sarah Gregory". The link to her blog is on the right in the blog roll.

It's A Spank Blog, After All

Hello to all you readers, and all the new followers of this blog--and all the old followers of this blog, as well. I'm not leaving anybody out!

I've got a bunch of miscellany to get through--just assorted odds and ends that I need to address. (No, not THOSE kinds of ends--although some ladies ends definitely need to be seen to, if you catch my drift.)

First item: I'm still dealing with general busyness and distractions, so I'm not updating as often as I have in the past. There's no regular posting schedule that I follow, but I used to put up a new post roughly every two or three days. Lately it's been closer to a post a week. I'm hoping that will change soon. Thanks for sticking with me!

Second item: I finally changed my profile picture back to what it was. I still think the Yankees suck ass, but the World Series has been over for a while now. Give them credit, they won it, they're the best team that money can buy, and if all of us sports fans around the country were to honest, we wish OUR team would spend that kind of money to get some good free agents. Time to move on, as I said, and so the profile picture is back to that lovely black and white illustration of Domestic Bliss/Discipline.

Any lady wishing to find herself in the same position, the number to call is 555-Dr-Ken. I'm standing by, palm at the ready.....

I also changed the profile description. The old one read like a personal ad. Nothing wrong with that, really--hey, I'm a single spanker looking for a female spankee--but that doesn't really tell you what the blog is about, and that's what I'd like the profile description to do. Now it's more about what you'll find in these posts and pages, and what you can expect. I want to convey the idea that this blog is pretty much about the fun of consensual adult spanking--and let's face it, it is fun--even if we're taking it very seriously. There's an enjoyment of the whole proceeding going on--we wouldn't do it otherwise!

The written profile isn't quite where I want it yet, so there will undoubtedly be some tweaking and some changes made, but it's getting better.

The next item is an addition to the blog roll. It's another blog from Richard Windsor (when does the man sleep?) and it's called The Spanking Universe. It's really a reference site, much the way some other blogs have their blog rolls set up. You can see at a glance what blogs have posted updates to their sites and when. You get the name of the blog, the title of the latest post, and information about when it was posted, so at a glance you can see that--for example--Spanking Minnesota updated his blog about 1 hour ago with a post called, "It's A Spank Blog, After All". With nearly 200 blogs listed, it can't help but save you time if you check there first. You can then read the latest from your favorite bloggers without having to click on and view a blog that hasn't been updated for, say, two weeks.

Last item: I haven't done it yet, but I might have to turn on the "Comment Moderation". Lately some jerk of a spammer (are there any other kind?) has been visiting my blog, going into the post archives, and leaving "comments" that are nothing more than the sort of spam you get in your e-mail: where to get prescription drugs cheaper, where to get Viagra, you too can have a 12-inch penis, blah blah blahbity blah. Why they would do that, I have no idea--I mean, really, how many people are going to go digging through the archives and even find their little ad? I know about it because I get an e-mail every time somebody leaves a comment. When I see that it's happened, I go in as soon as possible and delete it. Maybe they're working on a quota or something--nobody has to actually see the spam, they just have to prove they posted it somewhere.....

Anyway, it's annoying and it takes time that I don't really have to give, so if it continues I will have to moderate the comments. All that will mean is that I screen any comments you leave. Once I approve them, they'll appear on the blog. So for those who are kind enough to comment on something I posted, it will be a case of gratification delayed rather than instant.

I'm hoping I don't have to do it, but time will tell. I'll certainly let you know if that happens.

That's about all for now, I think. Everybody have a spanking good time this weekend!

Non-Post

This is not a post.......not really.

I've been busy with other things lately, which has cut into my blogging time. On top of that, I've also been feeling somewhat uninspired. Neither situation should last much longer, but between the two of them, they've managed to keep blog updates to a minimum.

So, as I said, this is really sort of a non-post--which is still better than compost, though not by much.

I think I'll go have lunch at the 50's Grill in Brooklyn Center. It's an old-fashioned malt shop-type of place, and the food is solid. I especially like their Bacon-Cheddar burger. They make their own buns and rolls on the premises, which really adds to the taste.

Yeah, there's nothing like good buns.......

Weather Report

It's getting to be that time of year in Minnsota--Fall. Blustery days, "high" temperatures in the low 40's (or worse), the threat of snow in the near future. There's not a lot to like, weather-wise. Still, Fall is one of my favorite times of year.

I just love windy days..... :-)

Disney Is Not Amused

This has nothing to do with spanking, but I couldn't pass it up.

Okay--so, you're a beer company in Australia, and you have a product that you want to sell--Jamieson's Raspberry Ale. in spite of the presence of fruit in the name, you want to get across the idea that this still is beer, not some fruity soda-pop-type concoction. You want the serious beer drinkers out there to know this isn't Kool-Aid--in fact, it's anything but sweet.

So, how do you get the point across?

The Foundry, the ad company charged with creating the compaign, did it this way:

Yes, it's "Ho White and the Seven Dwarves".

The Dwarves were also renamed, supposedly to represent various types of drinkers. So, instead of Sleepy, Happy and Doc, these Dwarves are named Filthy, Smarmy and Randy.

I did some quick searching trying to come up with all seven names, but didn't have any luck.

In what is probably a vast understatement, after the ad came out the company said that it had "a little bit of contact" with Disney. I'm sure it comes as no surprise to anyone out there that the website for the product, anythingbutsweet.com, has apparently been disabled. I think it's safe to assume that all advertising featuring the image has been pulled, as well.

Disney has officialy released no comment.

One paper that featured the story ran a poll asking if people were offended by the ad. The last time I looked, 25% said yes, this was a terrible way to treat a Disney Princess and 75% said they weren't offended, they thought it was funny.

Count me among the 75%.

I Feel A Song Coming On

It's been a while since I've done a song parody. Now seems as good a time as any to rectify that situation.

So put on your false beards, your cheap sunglasses, your spinning guitars and crank the volume on the amps up to 11! This one is done to the tune, "Sharp-Dressed Man", by ZZ Top. Feel free to play the song in the background and sing along--

Stern look

He scolds

She pouts when he says that "You're not too old"

Hairbrush

In view

She knows exactly what he's gonna do

Yeah she's in trouble, gonna pay for her pranks

But every girl's crazy 'bout a man that spanks

Rolls up

His sleeve

He sits and puts her right across his knee

His palm

Descends

She promises that she will make amends

He pulls her skirt up, gives her panties a yank

Yeah, every girl's crazy 'bout a man that spanks

Can't think

Can't speak

The spanks fall quickly dancing cheek to cheek

It stings

It burns

She can't escape because he holds her firm

And when it's over she will show him her thanks

'Cause every girl's crazy 'bout a man that spanks

4th Annual LOVE OUR LURKERS Day

It's that time of year again. Spanking blogs all over the net are going to proudly proclaim that fact that we.......

The people who come to read and look at what we post are the lifeblood of every blog out there. Yes, we love it when you leave comments--but we know the majority of people don't, for a variety of reasons. That's fine--you have every right to make that choice. It doesn't mean that we appreciate you any less.

But we do pay attention to you. We can see by the numbers how many people actually come by and take a peek at our efforts. (In the case of this blog, that comes to slightly over 339,000 of you since I started writing in January of 2007.) It's easy to tell by how many of you come by which posts you enjoy and which ones are less successful. We try to make our blogs into something that you will want to come and visit. You may not leave a comment--but you are taken into account nonetheless.

So this is our day to show a little blog love to everybody out there who drops in to peruse a post or a few paragraphs. To all of you we say, "Thanks".

And this is the day that we encourage all of you--for at least this one day--to speak up and say what's on your mind. We urge you to break your lurking status just this once and leave a comment, even if it's just to say, "hi", or to tell us where your from, or what you like/don't like about the blog. It's your forum, and I, for one, am happy to turn it over to the silent majority in honor of this day.

We do love our lurkers--and on this day, we turn the comments section over to you. Feel free to drop me a note!

'Cause like all the other bloggers out there....I love my lurkers, too!

Okay...I've changed my Avatar--the little picture that goes with my profile. Anyone paying attention to the Major League Baseball playoffs will understand why.

I'm only sorry I don't have this picture of Cartman in a Twins uniform. :-)

I'll be changing the picture back to something else on Monday...or maybe Tuesday....

HAPPY BIRTHDAY, MARZ! (No, Not The Planet...)

This post will be a slight departure from the normal fare as I take the time to wish Marz a very "Happy Birthday".

Who is Marz, you ask? The short answer is that he's a fellow Minnesotan and a fellow enthusiast of This Thing We Do. As far as I'm concerned, that's reason enough to send him best wishes for a happy day of celebrating from me and my friends--and by "my friends" I mean these completely random pictures of women in various stages of undress that I found on the Internet--like these:

And these:

Some famous (and not-so-famous) people who share their birthdate with Marz--
Eddie Guerrero--popular Pro Wrestler with the WWE
Bruce Catton--noted historian and author
Brian Lamb--co-founder and CEO of C-SPAN
Aimee Semple McPherson--Pentecostal radio Evangelist
Jacques Tati--French director who wrote and starred in "Mr. Hulot's Holiday"
Zachery Ty Bryan--played son Brad on the TV show "Home Improvement"
Brandon Routh--played Clark Kent/Superman in the movie, "Superman Returns"
Steve Burns--Co-creator and original host of the Nickelodeon show, "Blues Clues"
Tony Shaloub--Emmy award-winning actor who stars as the obsessive compulsive detective on the TV show "Monk"
Scott Bakula--star of TV shows "Quantum Leap" and "Star Trek: Enterprise"
Sharon Osbourne--wife of rocker Ozzy Osbourne
Jackson Browne--musician and songwriter; wrote "Running On Empty"
John Entwistle--Bassist for The Who
John Lennon--singer, guitarist and songwriter for The Beatles (like I really needed to explain who he is)

So have a Happy Birthday, Marz, and I hope you have a wonderful day and that it leads into a wonderful year for you. But don't let the celebration get too crazy--we all remember the scene the next morning from last time:

If you know Marz--or even if you don't know Marz--leave him a "Happy Birthday" message as a "comment". I'm sure he'll enjoy reading them. Or just send him a birthday wish mentally. The Universe has an excellent message delivery system.....

Keeping Up With The Spankos

After watching a bit of television the other day, the question that comes to my mind is this: Is Khloe Kardashian a spanko?

Probably not, but after watching her and her sisters, Kourtney and Kim, on Keeping Up With The Kardashians and the latest series, Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, I can't help wondering just a little.

Kim is the best known of the 3 sisters, thanks to her Playboy pictures and her impressive booty (I actually think it's a law that you can't mention Kim Kardahsian unless you include a reference to her derriere). Khloe and Kourtney are both getting to be better known in their own right--you may have seen the shoot that Khloe did for PETA:

All three sisters are lovely, and their bottoms would be coveted by spankers everywhere. But after seeing episodes of their shows, it looks like the majority of smacking is being done by Khloe herself, and Kourtney seems to be her favorite target.

At least once in each of the first two seasons of Keeping Up With The Kardashians, we've seen evidence of this. I recall one episode where Khloe was dragging Kourtney across the floor, eventually working her pants down, and then finished things off with a big smack to Kourt's backside.

In the opening episode of Kourtney and Khloe Take Miami, we see the two sisters having a discussion that ends with a high five--but Khloe, with a devilish gleam in her eye, takes hold of Kourtney's hand and slowly pulls her sister toward her, briefly getting her in a darn near perfect "bottoms up" position. Kourtney, being no fool, immediately turns over onto her left side. We then see Khloe hook Kourt's leg, turning her back over face down and buns up. Sadly, the scene cuts away before we see what happens next, but--speaking as a spanker with 20+ years of experience--I sure know what I expected to follow.

Later in the series, when Khloe learns that Kourtney is getting togther with an ex-boyfriend, Khloe gets Kourtney face down, flips up her skirt, and smacks her bottom (sorry about the picture being so small, but it was the only video-grab of the scene that I could find):

So--is it all just sisterly roughhousing? Or should Khloe change her name to Spanko Kardashian?

I leave it up to you to decide for yourselves....

General Housekeeping

As happens from time to time, I've had to go in and change a few things on the blog roll.

I deleted the link to The Secret Life of Andrades Girl. I don't know what happened to her, but the blog didn't get updated for months, and a recent attempt to go there resulted in the message, "Blog Not Found". So it's had to come off the list.

There have also been two updates. Chris' Firehouse moved and is now Chris' Kinky Firehouse. Sparkle's blog, Life In Motion, is now called At A Kinky House, and Sparkle is now calling herself Serenity Everton. Why the name change, I'm not sure. When I first saw "Serenity", I thought it might be in tribute to the Joss Whedon series, Firefly, and the subsequent movie, Serenity. But now I doubt it, and I have no idea where "Everton" came from. You'll have to drop by her blog and ask her.

If you're going through the blog roll I have listed and come across any errors, or find that blogs have changed or disappeared, please let me know so I can make the necessary changes. I want to keep the blog roll current and make sure anyone using it can connect with all the wonderful bloggers out there.

Or, if you're a blogger who regularly reads here and you make a change--whether it's a name change or moving to a new site--drop me an e-mail at DoctKen@aol.com and I'll see to it that your link remains current.

I'll be making some additions to the blog roll in the near future. Some were featured on Bonnie's My Bottom Smarts blog, and Brambleberry Blush posted a list of four interesting blogs not too long ago. I'll be adding some from each source, plus a few I came across on my own blog wanderings.

Happy reading!

Terminology

There are many different words that can be used when referring to the female posterior. I'm content with simply calling it a "bottom"--especially when it's preceded by the phrase, "I'm going to spank your...". But did you ever wonder why they're sometimes referred to as "globes"?

The Question

Maybe it's the way you're rolling up your sleeve. Maybe it's the hairbrush in your right hand slowly tapping the palm of your left hand.

She doesn't actually have to ask the question. She already knows the answer as she watches you walk toward her. Still, you can see the question in her eyes. You can see it in the way her hands move to cover and protect her bottom, almost as if they have a will of their own. It's in her posture, her body language. She knows, and she really doesn't need to ask:

"Am I in trouble?"

I Can't Wait.....

The new TV season starts this week (a few shows started last week) and I, for one, cannot wait for the return of those lovely, spankable leading ladies that I enjoy watching week after week. Oh, sure, the summer replacement shows and the reality shows were nice, but give me those actresses that I've already spent a season or more viewing--like Evangeline Lilly of Lost:

Or Vanessa Williams on Ugly Betty:

Eliza Dushku on Dollhouse:

And.....uh......did I mention Evangeline Lilly from Lost?

(Okay, I'm pretty sure this last picture is a fake. It's exactly like the first photo minus the underwear. And I do mean exactly. Still, it's pleasant enough to look at.....)
What television shows are you looking forward to?
