The Universal Remedy

Mothers all over the world know exactly what to do when their teenage daughter misbehaves.  And it's just as effective in other countries as it is here.....as the young lady in this drawing, fist pounding in response to the swats her bottom is receiving, would certainly attest.

This Is The Old Stuff...

Some vintage photos for your enjoyment this time out.  The years go by, but the spankings remain the same....

Dr. Ken's Spankable Bottom Of The Week

It's been a while since I did a "Spankable Bottom Of The Week" post.  And after using pictures of Rosaleen Young in my last two posts, it would certainly seem natural for me to use another picture of her for the "Spankable" post.  But I'm not going to do that.

Instead, it's this young lady--clearly sent to her room, told to prepare herself and to nervously wait in anticipation, listening for the footstep on the stair, the door to the room opening, the soft swishing as the belt is pulled free from around his waist, the short lecture as he emphasizes his words by slapping the belt against his palm, and then the sound of the belt whooshing through the air as he delivers that first sharp, stinging stroke....

No question about it, this is Dr. Ken's Spankable Bottom Of The Week!

Have a wonderful weekend!

The Realization

To her complete surprise, she quickly discovered that...

A) She was not too old to be spanked;

B) Even at her age, it still stung like mad;

and C)..........She kinda liked it!

An Error In Judgment

Spanking, she thought, was what you did to little kids.  She was a big girl.  An adult.  All grown-up.  She could easily take a spanking.  Heck, she'd probably barely even feel it.

Boy, was she wrong!

Born On The 4th Of July....

The 4th of July is the day that we celebrate the birth of our nation and our independence.  Why do we celebrate the way we do?  Maybe we're just following the wise words of our 2nd President, John Adams, who wrote this about July 4th in a letter to his wife, Abigail:

 "I believe that it will be celebrated by succeeding generations as the great anniversary festival.  It ought to be celebrated by pomp and parade, with shows, games, sports, guns, bells, bonfires, and illuminations from one end of this continent to the other..."

Happy birthday, America!  Here's wishing all of my American readers a fun-filled Fourth....
